The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that access to MAID, medical assistance in dying, is a constitutional right. Federal law has enshrined that right. Yet here in Alberta, Danielle Smitj has passed legislation that effectively annuls that right, and with very little public attention or push back. It’s outrageous.
