Thank you for raising this concern. I hope the response received at the end actually does mean it will actually now be noted and discussed.

The government runs their own websites, as they should. In my opinion it's the time for them to put up a Fediverse instance to get their messages out instead of relying on any of the (as has been mentioned in another comment) foreign backed corporate enterprise. People can then access it from Bluesky, or Threads, and there will be more in the future.
