@nicholas_saunders it can be be used for anything receiving federal funding or in lawfare. Are you young or naive thinking this will be narrowly abused by government (and private parties)??!?

golly, your remarkably defensive, and offensive, reply would indicate, that, indeed, this law would only effect institutions and isn't, in fact, an abrogation of free speech in any way.
in reply to saahbs

so, after implicitly acknowledging that there's no first amendment issue, you've now resorted to throwing baseless epithets.

@nicholas_saunders you can keep reiterating your beliefs (trolling), keep going, it doesn't challange any of the points presented by Glen Greenwald and numerous other #1a concerned voices. I encourage anyone reading this to listen to Glen Greenwald's video, then read @nicholas_saunders meek rebuttals and then make their own mind.
in reply to saahbs

given your inability to articulate his points, that seems unlikely. I happen to subscribe to his podcast, where he often gets the details "wrong" to advance his position.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great journalist and thinks very carefully -- but he does blind spots.

@nicholas_saunders is a troll BTW, you can safely ignore him.

He doesn't care about words, meaning, truth in general...

in reply to a goat‽

@nus thanks, suspected as much, observed him engage in twisting my extremely brief summary (his abrogation rephrasing != my claimed constrain), his feigned offense, his extremely narrow and naive reading of the bill, etc.
