Happy Eurovision Semi Final 2 day! Tonight, we will get to enjoy songs from Denmark, Bulgaria, Australia, Czechia, Latvia and... well... all of these: #Eurovision
I still don't enjoy that annoying background music while the hosts are talking. I guess it's even worse if you have some sort of hearing disability. #Eurovision
#BULGARIA: Imagine the word "Bangaranga" and say it again, again and again to a heavy beat - there you have the refrain for this song. Not sure it has that much more? Well, dancers with plastisc masks in front of their faces. #Eurovision
#AZERBADJAN: Not sure this is a good song? It's... bland and boring. The singer is talented, sure, but you need more than a voice to go through the screen. #Eurovision
I also have questions why the Azerbadjani singer has makeup as if she has been crying blood? Looks a little creepy... and doesn't suit the song very well? #Eurovision
Welcome back, #LUXEMBOURG !! A sweet pop girl singing a pop song about mother earth, we like that. The refrain sounding SUPER like one of british artist Birdy's songs, don't like that.
Let's see how it plays out on stage... #Eurovision
#CZECHIA - I have heard the pre-talks about this guy being a brilliant singer, but... when the song starts really slow and doesn't grab me instantly, I sigh a bit.
To compete in #Eurovision , a ballad must be REALLY good. That means, really, REALLY good. And this song isn't good enough, even though I like those drums and beats in the background.
Well, it's clear that the Austrian show hosts won't go to the history as particularly memorable... except for perhaps a few unfortunately bad choices. Like that costume. #Eurovision
#FRANCE brings an unusually talented opera-singing 17 year old girl to the table. AND, she has a SONG!! Personally, I do enjoy the parts that she uses her chest-voice more (like the refrain). The song could also benefit from being modernised a little bit more? I mean, a few cool beats to this would make it really, really good. But overall, I like it!! #Eurovision
Uh, what is this? Discussing whether singers are straight or gay? That doesn't matter, as long as everyone are welcome. And outing artists who weren't out when they were performing... nah, I'm not a fan. #Eurovision
Time for #ARMENIA !! How about a costume jacket of post-its, together with a dance company in business looks... but the song has a refreshing rock vibe. I like it! Who hasn't wanted to rock up a teams meeting at some point? #Eurovision
Dear lord, I was unfortunately right about the questionable voice quality. This is awful... super false. Poor girl. At least she has some voice backup behind stage. #Eurovision
#AUSTRIA wants us to think we need a tanzschein to dance, but I'm quite sure that isn't needed these days... what we all need though are dancers with silver animal masks!! We had way too little of that so far. Thanks, Austria!! Oh, and the song is catchy. Me like! #Eurovision
#LATVIA sends a woman singing with a beautiful voice, and her voice during one part in the song is... angelic, is the word I'm looking for. I like that her look, her dress and the staging, all fits perfectly with her voice and her song. I really like this. #Eurovision
#DENMARK sends a banger about going out to dance and party with your friends and never going home until you... go home. But before that, you dance in leather pants in a plastic dance-box at some night club. This is good! Sören has a really good voice and give me strong young partying gay-guy vibes. But I wish this song would have a stronger beat through out!! #Eurovision
#AUSTRALIA thinks it's time for Delta Goodrem to enter #Eurovision, and she surely is a good singer and piano player. Let's see how this ballad is staged....
Perhaps it looks a bit dated? Though, impressive that someone put glitter all over the grand piano. She is good, no doubt about that. But it feels a bit... conventional and safe? #Eurovision #Australia
Hahahah, one second after I wrote "safe" she did a super strong high tone and stood on the piano... sorry Delta, forget about my comment! #Australia #Eurovision
#UKRAINE does something new and different and sends an educated singer with a traditional lute... but the song grows into... what is this? A ballad? Will there be beats? Feels like this can go anywhere... #Eurovision
Time for the #UK ! This will be interesting. A british song with a german title (Eins, Zwei, Drei)... and with a lot of odd quirks. The staging (by swedish Benke Rydberg) will definitly be interesting, at least.
When the #ALBANIA n singer started singing, I almost thought he would sing Madonna's "Like a prayer", but fortunately it was just the first 4 notes that were similar.
Apparantly, this year you should wear black glitter clothes, preferrably with a glitter cape - according to Albania.
Good song, interesting harmonies and choir, but the song isn't strong enough. #Eurovision
That song would have been sung wearing a slick, extremely well-tailored suit... and next year, Aidan could return with a song that is more "him". #Eurovision
#NORWAY decided to send a rock guy with a song with a title easy to remember: YA YA YA. I had no idea that the leather and glitter dungarees was the new fashionable thing, but hey! I'm no fashionista.
The singer has charisma and voice! And the song is pretty strong... this is rather good! #Eurovision
My prediction / wish / guess of which ones goes to the final is: Bulgaria, Denmark, Norway, Australia, Luxembourg, Armenia, Switzerland, Latvia, Romania aaand.... either Malta or Czechia.
Maybe Cyprus will take Switzerlands place, but that is unfair considering Cyprus's poor song quality...
If there is a rule I need should be added to #Eurovision, I think it's one about clothes. Could we add a rule that a female costume or dress cannot have the only selling poins that it is really revealing?
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with showing some skin. But I think that female singers and hosts more often than not wears costumes that show skin, and lack in originality otherwise... and it's starting to be quite boring. It's as if the costume designers give up?
..and yes, I understand if this is an unpopular opinion, but I have seen too many half naked women in Eurovision. I want to see more creative, amazing, fantastic, breathtaking costumes!! #Eurovision
JJ is truly an amazing artist. And I had no idea that my brain was longing for white-dressed dancers, dancing hanging in wires. So beautiful. #Eurovision
Vienna is hosting one of the worst Eurovision for a long time 😬 Almost everything just makes me roll my eyes, this ”don’t worry, eurovision is still mostly straight people, only these were gay”-joke was even worse then that song about australaisia

This isn't all bad... even though the discussion about plagiarism, it's good.

Oh, this is a quite powerful midtempo rock ballad! I like it, the singer has a good voice.
Suddenly, the white rope is changed for red ropes...well, the song continues to be good.

The song sounds like an oldschool movie soundtrack, a ballad starting late in the movie where the two lovers meet.
Aidan is a good singer though... would love to hear him in song that isn't quite as generic. #Eurovision
