Road and Track: Waymo Carrying Passengers Drives Through Active Crime Scene in L.A.
"...Video shared on Instagram by content creator Alex Choi shows a Waymo turning left near Broadway and First Street in downtown Los Angeles while LAPD officers hold an alleged car chase suspect at gunpoint. The autonomously operated Jaguar slowly passes by the suspect, who is laying face down on the ground with his hands behind his back, while law enforcement officials attempt to tell the AV-EV to continue through. We can't be sure exactly how close the Waymo passed by the suspect, who was subsequently arrested under felony charges, but the video appears to show the vehicle mere inches from the man...."
