Until those that I interact with here on the #Fediverse all leave for #Bluesky, I really don’t care how fast Bluesky is growing.

The people I follow and those that I have chance encounters with on the Fediverse are awesome.

Y’all keep on being you. This place is most excellent!

Having moved briefly from X to Bluesky, the latter is definitely more alive than Mastodon, and we could improve Mastodon by being more engaged, voicing our opinions more, boosting content we think is worthwhile.
It's not about "numbers" it's about being a place that brings out the best in everyone involved. Hard to do that when there are nearly no responses boosts follows etc.

I suppose the balance is not just spewing stuff for the sake of it. Just take a minute and share what matters.

Bluesky is still running on VC funding. The acid test of what it'll be like over there will be when the money runs out they have to find ways to keep the lights on.
