#HandsOff protests: did any media report how many protesters there were in the US? When we have these in France they are always obsessed by the size buy I can't seem to find an estimation for these ones..
Edit: someone send this #NewYorkTimes article which does a relatively good job of describing the diversity of problems that people protested against, but it doesn't really give an attendance estimate, only the number of people who signed up to participate which was 600 000.

in reply to El Duvelle • • •I suspect the mass media have and will underreport the protests and their numbers, but Alt National Park Service on Bluesky estimates 5 million, not counting protests outside the US and probably not a final tally.
The Nat Park Service are usually the last word in estimating event crowd sizes, so I trust them.
Also an enormous number of individual protests!
