@softproof the cost is mostly due to the more ethical practices in sourcing the materials / parts I think?
Actually it would be interesting to see a breakdown of the cost for a #FairPhone!

@elduvelle Yes, that would be quite revealing... And prolly the reason we'll never get to see it. :)
I can however reveal that my new 4G dumb phone is google/meta/X-free and only cost me £50.
