noyb filed a complaint against Mozilla for quietly enabling a supposed “privacy feature” (called Privacy Preserving Attribution) in its Firefox browser which tracks user behaviour on websites.noyb.eu

in reply to noyb.eu • • •The complaint is good. But since this exists already since version 128.0.0 it would be helpful to tell the people how they can disable it:
1. Click the menu button and select Settings.
2. In the Privacy & Security panel, find the Website Advertising Preferences section.
3. Uncheck the box labeled "Allow websites to perform privacy-preserving ad measurement".
After disabling it, it stays disabled for further versions.
