Hmm, true or bullshit? Anyone actually know?

The only people who "know" are the people being paid to actively lie about this, but no, it's 100% bullshit, and you will learn that 3 months after release when all the effects shops who refuse to be disappeared release their promo reels.

If you haven't watched "NO CGI is really just invisible CGI", it's long but worth your time: youtube.com/watch?v=7ttG90raCN…

@jwz Yeah I've watched that whole series. It's very good. There's a few other VFX people on here that might know, so we'll see. It's possible they didn't use Green Screen, but it'll be interesting to find out what they did instead, and what challenges that posed, since there's always a trade off with any method.

Either it's going to be "our screens were more of a periwinkle than blue" or "yeah we had sets but we digitally replaced every god damned one of them" and either way that statement is going to turn out to be bullshit. There's just no way.

Remember, *technically* true is the *best* kind of true!
