The country doesn't forbid abortion. That power was given back to the States instead of the national government. That's all that happened when Roe vs Wade was overturned.
State governments have no moral right to that power. We have the Bill of Rights specifically to limit the power of the majority. We will assert our innate human rights, even if that requires that we break your state laws. And we will help others do the same.
Before the Dobbs decision neither the national government nor state governments could outlaw abortion. After Dobbs, state governments can do so. That's a huge change, and it's not about state vs federal government.
I think born life should be protected first as good as we can. People are dying at the Mexican border and children live in poverty without chance of higher education. There is enough to do before forcing a woman to have a child.

Even the 10 Commandments seem to be against the idea.

So the US military is forbidden to kill enemy soldiers on the battlefield?

None of the current topic has to do with God or religion. That's a whole 'nother topic.
The only thing overturning Roe vs Wade did was put the power to regulate abortion into the hands of the States instead of the national government.
