Well, for the first time in the entire World Cup, the referee didn't help them win the match, so yeah, by their standards, it's "bad refereeing."

I mean, even if you had favourable refereeing, you can’t win if you don’t bother to kick the bloody ball!

Definitely. I think they wanted to go to PK and also hoped for some little help from the referee. In any case, that team had nothing to do in a final of a World Cup. It only won against three medium-weak teams because of luck and sketchy referees.

@David Regardless, I cannot respect a team that cannot be gracious in defeat. If you didn’t play your best, do not even pretend that you deserved to win.
