I called my #California assemblymember's office to express opposition to AB 1709 & the aide who took my call said "That's Assemblymember Lowenthal's bill" and tried to get me to contact Lowenthal instead. Had to argue w/the aide that I opposed a bill that MY assemblymember was a co-author of, and I wanted my opposition recorded.
