~35yrs ago, I used to say 'just wait 30 years and you'll see where this leads'. Most thought I was talking rubbish, but ... well here we are.

It's pretty shocking when you read it like this. How much corruption involved in all this?? The doors are always open.

@gsymon this is exactly what happens when the barons get to "cut red tape". It's what the Brexiteers wanted, it's what Tories have always wanted, and it's what a big chunk of Labour donors want. But it's always "the elites" getting in the way of them removing protections to make more money 🤔
