@mister914 Americans will chase after any solution that mimics public transit without having to deal with other people directly.

The infrastructure 100% needs to change but so many Americans have never had a good experience with public transit and cannot see a world where that’s where their taxes go.

I recently brought my American gf to Canada and she loved the subway and streetcars… mostly because they were coming frequently and payment was super easy.

Until then: give them cones
