I guess what I wonder is how many people do they have to interview to find these (extremely caricatural) ones? surely there can't be so many that not only say this stuff, but also agree to having the videos released?

I know a few ppl who are exactly this caricature. That us how they act. And it is every bit as cartoonish as is depicted here.

In this video, and all their others, they are at a gathering of these specific kinds of ppl.

There's about 10k ppl in my area. And there's maybe a few dozen who could be one of these caricatures.

That's a gathering of a few thousand of the dozens who are from all across the USA.

There is no expectation of privacy in public. And the act of talking on camera is consent. 8n the context or a news show, or interview.

But things like gameshows, Jimmy Kimmel bits, etc. Do require some form of consent to be used in production.

But they could still show a video of you in public, without consent

Some of the more entertaining videos are when people interview MAGA adherents and ask them to explain how something will work. They merrily go along explaining, and all of a sudden the stop as they realize 'That ain't going to work, What? You can see the confusion in their heads when it happens. Doesn't happen enough though.
