Just sent off my freedom of information request to get all the private data about myself that #DOGE has accessed. You can do it too, thanks to some quick #activism by Maryland representative Jamie Raskin.

"We ask but for peace, liberty, and safety." Amen, stamp.

@AlgoCompSynth agree to disagree. I think it's time to flood that system. I do feel for people working there, but they're not my top priority right now.

In much the same way, I honestly can't believe I'm advocating for a government shutdown, but I am.

@AlgoCompSynth You seem pretty sure of yourself.

I would suggest you not try to dissuade people from trying everything they can to resist this administration.

Because you might just be wrong sometimes.

@AlgoCompSynth Is *anyone* who works at DOGE (a fictitious “department” less than 3 months old) worth **any** professional courtesies?

Did you read the link, or the form attached to the link? These requests are going to DOGE and request information that only DOGE has, not to any other (real) federal departments.

We all know that DOGE doesn’t have the resources to respond to these requests, and that’s part of the point - to grind their gears with legally required busywork.

@AlgoCompSynth I’m not your personal assistant; do your own research.

No one asked you to. Instead you came barging into someone’s else’s suggestion and tried to throw cold water over it. If you have other suggestions on what to do - make them. If you don’t - get out of the way of people who are doing things, however “improper” you seem to feel they are. Now is not the time for playing by some mythical “gentlemen’s rules” - that’s partly what got us into this mess.
