Apple TV+ is losing $1 billion annually. Apple Music is barely profitable. Apple News+, Fitness+ and Apple Arcade don't have much usage.
My family subscribes to Apple One, mainly for iCloud+, Music and to some extent News+. I used Fitness+ sporadically and Arcade is something that anyone in the family uses. If I stop playing the mini crossword, I wouldn't be in News+ very much. It would be cheaper for me to get iCloud+ and Music -- and this maybe something I do in the near future.
"The report adds that most users do not sign up directly for Apple's services, instead opting for an Apple One bundle, which inflates the perceived interest in each service. Many who sign up to Apple One are motivated to subscribe so primarily because of iCloud+ rather than other services. Without Apple One, Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness+ would not be profitable."

I think a lot of people just don’t play games on their phones, so the appeal of Arcade is limited.
I’ve tried Apple Music several times but keep going back to Spotify mostly because they have a better cross-platform experience with availability in more places.

Apple TV+ has a lot of high quality content. The Sci-Fi selection is GREAT, but they have other fantastic shows as well. I think this is perhaps the most underrated service they offer.
It's funny about News+. I had the precursor to their service known as Texture (and prior to that was known as Next Issue) which was good service. They, however, dropped everyone from their subscriptions after they acquired the company. Had they not, I probably would have remained a subscriber. More often than not-- the premium content can be read for FREE through a web search. It's actually more annoying than anything every time they hightight a premium article that you can't immediately read, so I just ignore them now.
As far as games and fitness... I have other means for those.

On the nose about their sci-fi selection. They've got the best and most interesting content in that catagory.
I did not realize that News+ was from an acquisition.

Never heard of Ghosted.
That reminds me, Apple does a horrible job advertising movies on their service. I had no idea Tetris even existed until I read about it online somewhere else.
Texture (Next Issue) was a service where you could read the latest monthy, weekly and daily issues of magazines, newspapers, and articles.
