A post from #LinkedIn saying this is the right behavior.

I heartily disagree. Working really hard is not anywhere near the right metric for determining if a person is a winner. I know people who work hard, burn lots of hours working, but end up achieving nothing because they don’t understand what needed to be done.

This letter also harkens to the toxic hustle culture where there is no work life balance. Where people burn themselves out.

A winner is the person who gets what they need to get done at work and then goes to live their life.

Work is not life, life is not work.

I am a DevOps + SRE because I am lazy. It’s the laziness that drives me to automate as much as I can so that I don’t have to do that work.
