fucking true story. Happened to me when I was trialing something for work, but to speed the approvals I did it on my personal account (idiotic move). Over provisioned some ML model and in 4 days racked up $6k in charges or something like that, lol. Had to write a nice letter explaining each step and what I did and how it was unexpected outcome bla bal bla. They comped me but still made me pay close to $1k)

Oh my goodness. I'm sure there was a certain pucker factor that went into play when you saw the $6k bill. I'm glad you got most of it paid for by the company!
