I wish there were a service, run by actual nice humans, where people with autism and ADHD (or any other neurodivergence) could call and get advice about the Social Optics of a thing, in a tone that was just explanatory and did not assume you were upset. Not that you couldn’t be upset, on your own time. But the purpose of the service would not be to mollify you, just to explain how something may have looked or where a misunderstanding may have occurred - data only.
