Too bad my fiber connection is only 1Gbps. Look at that link speed on my WiFi 6E connection over the 6Ghz radio.

Mine tops at 1Gbps too and I don't need more. My ISP has deals for higher but seriously who needs this much speed to have your wife watch Netflix and scroll Instagram all day 😂

@jnv

Lol. Most of the time 1Gbps is more than enough for the household... Until my son and I want to play Call of Duty together and we both get hit with their multi-GB updates at the same time. Then 1Gbps seems too little. 😅

True, those updates are killer. Even if the consoles are wired.

1 Gbps?😲

I'm still working at 300 baud on an acoustic modem by comparison!!! 🤦

I actually used a Radio Shack TRS80 Model 100 portable "computer," with an acoustic modem in the early 80's and, since I never throw anything away, I may still have them in a box somewhere &, if I do, I should sell them on eBay or donate them to a computer museum.

That was advanced sh*t back in the day!!! 😎

why not connect a second 1Gbit/s line and aggregate two lines to one server in a nearest datacenter with 10 Gbit/s line? But why do you need more than 1 Gbit/s internet, anyway?
