I'm new to Mastodon and chose an instance related to my amateur interests rather than my professional expertise. I am a professional software developer with degrees in mathematics and computer science, but I love learning about prehistory. Nothing quite sparks my imagination than looking toward the distant past. I think ultimately it's a search for forgotten worldviews that we can apply to ourselves and make our own futures brighter.
