Today my wife and I took the bus into town for breakfast, then we walked the 15 km back home. Normally I don’t bring my camera when I’m out with other people. Today I made an exception - and somehow tried to balance being present with my partner and allowing myself a small creative detour. I should probably ask my wife how well that actually worked. 😄
I also had to work fast while composing, because I didn’t want to keep her waiting. If I’d been on my own, I’m sure I would’ve taken at least twice as long. Honestly, after about two hours of looking for motifs I’m usually mentally exhausted and have to stop shooting. Do you get that too?
