I hate First Energy. They seem to always be cooking up a scam. Sometimes I feel like they watched Enron and were like "we can do it better"

Their last one was sending out flyers to get some of your energy via solar power. They made it look like they wanted to build a solar farm and you could buy so many kWh in advance at a discount.... After lots of digging I found out they were building the solar farm regardless and if you paid x amount per month for y amount of kWh you would receive a solar energy credit each month -- basically worthless to an individual and most businesses. You still had to pay the normal rate for all of your electricity in addition to whatever you committed to in the solar scam.

1.2 GW? They'd get more interest if they claimed it was for Doc Brown's time machine.
