@chrisod Ebay usually a better bet for those because of that. "Refurbished" generally just means the drives have been wiped and re-installed, and they made sure there were no obvious hardware faults/self test errors. (they don't do anything to "fix" anything on the hardware).

@chrisod Yes, for sure. I picked up two of the Lenovo ThinkCentre M53 (an earlier generation of those) and they are a great form factor and perfect for something like that.

This is a hard pass. CPU is nine years old and it's overpriced for old tech. As you had alluded to, it would be great to run Linux. That would be awesome!
