For those of you looking for an #Omnivore alternative, I recommend Raindrop.io. Or, if you don't mind self hosting, Hoarder and Linkwarden are both very good.

in reply to Jcrabapple π • • •I tested a whole bunch of #Omnivore alternatives yesterday and Raindrop.io was indeed my favorite of the bunch, though the #Logseq plugin seems a little iffy.
Right now I'm thinking I'll just pick something to tide me over until someone hopefully picks up that Omnivore code and runs with it.

in reply to Jcrabapple π • • •My ISP (Dreamhost) used to have one-click installs where they did the maintenance updates but they ended that. Otherwise I'd try Hoarder.
These days I'm (desperately) trying to reduce the complexity in my life, so I will resist the temptation to try to do it myself.
