Canada is pulling U.S. alcohol off shelves as trade tensions with the U.S. drag on 🍻 🥃 🥂

Imports of American beer, wine and spirits have plunged more than 70% as Canadian consumers are increasingly turning to local and international alternatives instead.

The local brews in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C., were flourishing well before trade tensions showed up. Their local brewing industries as good or better than the USA's craft brewers.

This is what the shelves of whiskey from the #UnitedStates have looked like for a YEAR in stores of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, the largest purchaser of wine and whiskey *in the world*!

Meanwhile, whisky from #Canada is still selling very well at the largest wine and whisky store in #Nashville , #Tennessee. I guess there’s a lotta #resistance everywhere in the ‘Land of the Free’!
