On the serious note, we need to educate people they shall not trust Closed-Source software and corporations with so many incidents like Google. (And the fact they're complying with #ChatControl 2.0)

in reply to Tuta • • •The main problem is that standard clauses like "We may use your data to improve our products and services" is so vague that it could mean anything.
Sure, they won't sell the data explicitly (or do they?), but Google and other Big Tech firms are such large institutions covering almost the complete breadth of the tech space that they have plenty of internal customers and teams that would devour this data without our consent, all in the name of "improving products and services".
