For us fans he obviously doesn't say much we haven't heard before* - but it's still a wonderful hi-speed tour de force through the topic for newbies & normies & as such, enormously important exposure πŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ˜Š

*I think I've stressed before the importance of hammering on the same message; it may not be news to Usℒ️ anymore but A. repetition begets recognition & B. those of us who already know are not the target audience.

Yep, well rehearsed and on fleek. I especially appreciated how he returned to his four points after the host made a strong attempt to derail the discussion.

that was a rapid fire round of quick wit and reminded me of Amy Sherman Palladino in the delivery style. Although I could understand in broad strokes, I had to rewind and listen again to properly understand the wit. Also I don’t think Ronny tried to derail the conversation. Looks to me that he made a genuine effort to understand the topic without much preparation. Nevertheless, TDS will never return to its previous glory under Jon Stewart.

@amt That was an amazing interview!

And I liked that Ronny brought up the side topic ("is this just a longing for the old internet?") because it gave Cory a good opportunity to mention that a better internet does not depend on regulating the people but on regulating the companies.
So IMO that question tied in beautifully with Corys overall message; and I'm wondering whether they rehearsed this beforehand, or whether Ronny just knows this topic surprisingly well.

@ollibaba @amt He's pretty up on the issues! He told me he was a Boing Boing reader from way back.
