I've been actively on the job search for over 8 months post-layoff and can barely get interviews for software engineering positions, much less an offer, with over a decade of experience. Today, my wife said I need to take a break because she can tell what a toll it's been taking on me, and her car got totaled in an accident last week. Message received.
I'm exhausted but can't get a full night's sleep. I can't even focus on things I enjoy for their own sake that I want to do.
For the next month, the only job search focus will be on existing applications/interviews and those cases where I can actually get a referral/know someone inside a company who can vouch for me. Beyond that, I need to rest and recenter.
If you can help, please look at my CV and reach out. I need something either in San Diego or fully remote.

I feel like there's probably some hashtags or something that should help visibility, but I don't even know where to start. I'm so tired

I need to get a full night's sleep before attempting a programming assessment I have to finish in less than a week, but after that I'll happily take you up on your offer. Never hurts to get more eyes/perspectives.
I went through a writer to get my CV into way better shape than it was before, but even with that, the lack of traction I've gotten in the job search has been so demoralizing.
