I'm still thinking #EV range anxiety is at least partially due to the car showing you the numbers go *down*.

In typical ICE vehicle, you have analog-ish fuel gauge, which kinda lies (based on my experience), and is at best a rough estimate for what is in the tank. So you feel "fuzzy" about it.

The odometer number go UP.
When you *know* your car, you have a good idea on it's range, so based on odometer you can work-out how much range you have left.

But that is not the same as *seeing* a number go DOWN.
