Here you’ll find photos (#holgersfotos) 📷, occasional rants 😠, and playful quips 🤪 from an exiled Swabian stranded in the Munich outback.

I would self-diagnose the style of my photography as clean, geometric, often symmetry-driven, sometimes even minimalistic. I love strong contrasts from shooting into light, and the combination of vibrant warm and cold colors. I take all photos in RAW format and edit them in Lightroom. I sometimes use the generative fill tool in Lightroom to clean up images. I occasionally use Photoshop for more advanced edits, such as replacing the sky or adding motion blur.

Occasionally, I blog about travels, trips, and sometimes nerdy stuff: ho1ger.de.

You’ll also see me boosting great (or simply funny or whimsical) photos from other users — because that’s how the good stuff spreads! I stopped boosting users' content who only share and promote their own work and/or do not interact with others.

I really like it, so, definately good in my book. I don´t think sharpness is a guarantee for a good photo, sometimes the lack of it can make it better.
