How much teaching do researchers / lecturers have to do in Germany (or more specifically in your institute if it varies a lot across places)?

Hi,
a regular researcher/lecturer paid by the state (as opposed to third party funding, i.e. the german research foundation DFG) normally has to do around 9 SWS ("Semesterwochenstunden", meaning course hours per week of semester), but if it is a position that aims at a higher qualification as this one, there is a reduction to 4 SWS, so that there is more time to complete the Habilitation requirements.
