People are starting to talk about deep sea mining. There are minerals down there - cobalt, manganese, nickel & more - potentially useful for creating a cleaner, greener electrified world. But taking them would cause huge damage to one of Earth's last great wildernesses. So what do we know about this trade-off? What lives down there? And should we cross this line?
