This genuinely started as a meow. But Charlie got distracted by something (the brain cell pinging around?) and just... stopped, until he yawned to reset himself. Oh, cats. #CatsOfMastodon #Cats #CharAndStar
Charleston the black cat lying in a plastic bed attached to the sliding glass door. He is in the middle of meowing, so his mouth is open and he looks kind of smiley.
The same cat in the same sunbeam, except now he's turned his head to face me. His mouth is the exact same level of open. He is extremely shiny in the sun.
Finally, the cat realizes his mouth is open and yawns. One ear is squished against the glass door. He clearly doesn't have a worry in the world.
