Personally, discovering Zen had a positive impact on my workflow.

I have been running Floorp for some years now and I am in love. ^^

Firefox and Mullvad
(Mullvad not running on ARM processors - so Firefox on that)
in reply to Tuta

Ah! You should've included name below (Would be helpful for those looking for alternatives)

BTW for me It's LibreWolf & Tor

in reply to Tuta

Depending on the purpose:

Tor
Vivaldi
DuckDuck

Nothing else...

The ordering of the list appears mostly based on personal preference, no clear criteriums are given that I would consider relevant.

I saw a test in which Mullvad (even if used without VPN) came out best wrt privacy, although not as user friendly, and Brave as the best choice for most users.

I tried zen for so long, but they keep making the experience worse and you can never really revert to how it was before and if you can it is not in the normal settings. And even if that option exists you might end up worse off than before the update. Stopped using it after they made multiple windows useless

I have used Firefox for a very long time and have grown used to it. However, I became aware of it desire to play with my computer in ways I didn't approve. Several months ago I began trying some of the "forks". I have settled on Waterfox with LibreWolf a close second. Most of the rest received a grade of ehhhh.

I might also mention that Thunderbird was also discarded ... Mozilla is OUT! I found Betterbird really better!

I’ve used several of these, lots of good ones. Currently, I’m using @Vivaldi and really like it.

privacy browser for android. (17 mb) light & fast with grt privacy features.. I also used fennec F-Droid but I don't like 2/3 Mozilla telemetry Trackers in that... & they are not lookin to remove them. πŸ˜…

I've been using Firefox again for the past year. It is on all my platforms. And most importantly the Android version also supports uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger. Although, some websites will not behave properly.

Most browsers I have tried out do way to much feature wise (looking at you, Vivaldi). This leads to having to expand too much time/energy configuring them. Because I just need basic features and don't want to speed hours turning everything off.

Habe viele Google Apps jetzt durch Fossify Apps ersetzt. Telefon, Kontakte, Nachrichten, Uhr, Kalender.

Kalender nur offline.

Mainly use FireFox but playing around with Bromure Browser. Finally got Cloudflare WARP working.

LibreWolf primary since years back, then Tor, followed by Mullvad
in reply to Tuta

been using librewolf for years, couldnt be happier with it and dont imagine myself using any other browser any time soon!
in reply to Tuta

I use Floorp most, DuckDuckGo on mobile, Tor browser as a fallback, and Dillo+ for the rest. Although I keep a copy of Falkon around and I'm following Ladybird closely.

You forgot Vivaldi Browser, which is the only mainstream browser not to include A.I.
in reply to Tuta

please help me, is Brave not a feasible alternative?

Loved Vanadium when using Graphene

Big LibreWolf fan here. It has struck a lot of right balances for me.

Baseline Firefox is extremely unsafe. Mozilla wants to be like Google now. However, for whatever reason, third party Firefox-based browsers do a whole heck of a lot better of a job of cleaning up the mess that is made of the browser they're based on. (Of Chromium-based browsers, only Ungoogled Chromium even seems to be really truly trying. Even that is severely limited... Others like Vivaldi do try to undo the bad stuff, but they still go for anything but minimalism, integrating tons of extra stuff.)

As a side note here, I'm definitely wondering why so many people seem to have been fooled into thinking Brave browser or baseline Mozilla are ok and safe now. Neither can be trusted any more than Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
