I just need to pay my loan. I don't need a chatbot about paying my loan.

apple music continuous playing. When they originally launched “radio stations” it basically did this very well. The new feature just isn’t the same.

Acrobat. I hung onto a license for years until The Slop started a year or so ago.
Now I use Bluebeam. I asked the IT boffins to remove Acrobat from my PC and was delighted to discover it gone a week ago.
Buh bye!

Crystal programming language now has an llm summary button on it's forum.
Hate it, no option to remove it as a user.

University.

Seriously, this particular university's relentless promotion of LLMs really wears me down. They also seem to have a deal with Microsoft, where they require every professor to have a slide promoting Copilot while discourage using ChatGPT. Someone probably has a lot of money in their pocket in this process

I discovered this morning that even @iFixit has an "AI" chatbot thing. I'd love it if I could have just one day without having an overpriced text guesser shoved in my face

Would I be a hypocrite if I complained about the ads for Perplexity's Comet browser that appear when I launch the Perplexity app on my phone?

Notepad++ on a Windows system.

I noticed a little AI icon in window. Clicked on it. One menu choice was

"Make more inspirational"

But the plaintext content I was viewing at the time, was just a CSV file with numbers.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but here's an example from Adobe InDesign

mapstodon.space/@pinakographos…

A warning for Adobe #InDesign users. I recently updated my copy, and after preparing a document, the recipient of that document sent me the alt text that popped up on one of their figures. Apparently, by default, InDesign uses AI to generate (often hilariously wrong) alt text for images.

Probably Hostinger. Their entire site is basically just them shilling their AI "products" at this point (despite having otherwise fair services).

“Favourite Application” and “has added an LLM” are mutually exclusive.
