Poem: Shiny LLM:s
they say the shiny LLM:s are crucial,
will solve the existential crisis soon.
we sit in silent awe of their refusal
to stop the hype inflating this balloon.
the stocks are rising, CEO:s are beaming:
“we will remove all boring work for you”.
they’re coaxing us, they want us to keep dreaming,
that we’ll be saved by wonder GPU:s

and no one talks about the actual bills.
we’re being pushed into unwanted mortgage,
to satisfy the data crunching mills.
but cracks are slowly starting to appear now,
the promise made for Sora wasn’t real.
all tons of carbons burned for us to say “wow”,
don’t know ‘bout you, but I don’t like that deal.
