If you're running a public Mastodon server that has a character limit higher than 500, you might want to mention this in your server description?
A lot of people are looking for higher character limits but most servers with higher limits aren't mentioning it, so people don't notice them as much.
Obviously there are other things that are important when choosing a server, but if you have higher limits it seems a shame to leave them hidden?
