#Trump has accused boat crews of being *narco-terrorists*. The truth, AP found, is more nuanced
One was a fisherman struggling to eke out a living on $100 a month. Another was a career criminal. A third was a fmr military cadet. And a fourth was a down-on-his-luck bus driver.

Deciding if they were carrying drugs is a matter for due process, which did not happen. The survivors were released without charge so the evidence against them was clearly very weak or non-existent. If there was any strong evidence, the Trump admin would have paraded them on a perp walk to provide cover for the murders.
