The #ICC also issued a warrant for a #Hamas military leader, Mohammed #Deif, who was killed in an airstrike in Gaza in July…. Prosecutors issued warrants because they were not able to confirm whether he is dead or alive….

Although #Israel is not a party to the Rome Statute, upon which the court is founded, the warrants are a public rebuke of Israel’s conduct during the #war & are required to be enforced by the court’s 124 member states.
