Yesterday I was trying to explain to someone who was convinced #TrumpVoters were in the midst of a rude awakening because suddenly their grandmas weren’t getting social security benefits, that they were still all in; somehow rationalizing it, like, “yeah it sucks about grandma, but most people getting those benefits are Welfare Queens or dead.”

The GOP has been playing the right for fools for decades now. They've been working on those lines that convince people who think only of their own hate for others they never met and don't know for so long now that they have it down to a science. In truth the number of people who cheat those systems, just like the number of "illegal" immigrants who commit major crimes is actually shockingly low, but these people think there are whole crime rings formed around this stuff.
