I know this aircraft!! it is based on "one of my airports" and I see it flying regularly!! Privately owned, the US Navy livery is for fun - I was told this type was never operated by us armed forces.

@saahbs Did I read at some point that it is one of only two flying in the US? Cool plane, anyway.

I don't know how many are flying here, but coming in for landing in a glider while the Aermacchi is on a 5-mile final and a P-51 or AT-6 is doing pattern work on crossing runway makes for a fun day :) [KVCH btw]
