![I’m fascinated by how law enforcement understanding of hackers and the hacking scene has evolved over time. I made a FOIA request to the FBI for records relating to a hacker known as ‘Shadow Hawk’, who was busted in 1987 and received back some documents that were sent to the investigating agents.
SA [redacted] called the NCAVC to determine if any profiles exist on juvenile computer “hackers” and if any additional information on computer security existed which may prove useful in this investigation.
