Where are all the #Stockholm #hackers at?
I'm "president" of the, now dead, hackerspace Ix that lost it's space in 2021. We have been searching for a new space without finding anything suitable in a reasonable distance from the city center and we have started the process of shutting everything down with the goal to have it done by next year.
Then something happenedβ¦

in reply to CoopDot π» ππ΅πππͺπ • • •So a week ago, I stumbled upon an effort to start #StockholmHackerSpace. I had my own plans but I scrapped them in favor of the one that group had.
The current best option is to get a place they found in Sundbyberg (very close to the station)

in reply to CoopDot π» ππ΅πππͺπ • • •ohh, very nice! I have actually thought about starting a hacker space myself! I am the chair of @konstellationen and maybe don't have too much time but I would love to see a hacker space in Stockholm!
Do you speak Swedish? If so, try to write some posts ik Swedish as well as I think perhaps more people will read more carefully.
And yes, I would be a member!

in reply to Samuel • • •I had a look at Stockholm Makerspace makerspace.se and thought that sounded nice but then I looked at the fees and they were way too high for me. I guess it has to do with all cool machines.
A hacker space with just the space would be fine with me. It's the space I am looking for, not the machines. (Though a 3D printer would be nice).
Sundbyberg would be ideal for me since I live in SpΓ₯nga :)
