#AndyBurnham does NOT support #ProportionalRepresentation #PR. 😡

Burnham supports #SupplementaryVote, also known as #AlternativeVote #AV, which is NOT a proportional system

And he will NOT scrap the current #FirstPastThePost #FPTP before the next general election #GE2029. So #ReformUK could win a huge overall majority on 30% of votes.

That makes a vote for #Burnham pointiess. He's a #Blairite who won't even introduce fair votes. 😡

There's no point to Burnham. Reject him, #Makerfield!

Well that's pretty crappy then 😞

He's also effectively ruling it out in this parliament by saying it would need to be endorsed in a manifesto and general election.

Argh. This is an emergency, there isn't time for vagueness now.

@FediThing Exactly. Fair votes is needed now ... but all Buenham offers is slightly less unfair votes at some stage in the future, after Labour has been wiped out and lost the power to legislate for nything.
