🥩 Nearly 30,000 pounds of Argentine beef recalled after skipping a required US inspection
Corte Argentino USA LLC (Aventura, FL) is recalling about 29,628 lbs of raw beef imported from Argentina that entered the country without the required FSIS import reinspection. It went to distributors and retailers in Florida and Texas.
The cuts, all boneless beef from Argentine processor Frigorifico Gorina SAIC: Top Sirloin Butt, Eye Round, Topside Cap Off, Flat, and Knuckle. Produced May 15-20, 2026, with use/freeze-by dates of Sept 15-20, 2026.
It is a Class I recall, the most serious category, but no contamination was found and no illnesses have been reported. The high rating exists because the beef never went through reinspection, so its condition is unverified. FSIS caught it during routine inspection activities.
Bought Argentine beef in FL or TX recently? Check for establishment number EST. No OF. 2025 and shipping mark 26644-AA. Do not eat it: throw it away or return it to the store.
