Slovenia beat Czechia at the 2026 Men’s World Ice #Hockey Championships.

To put this achievement into perspective, this is like U.S. beating England in the World Cup. Czechia is a perennial gold contender while Slovenia is almost a nobody. Only one Slovene plays in the NHL right now.
