Balancing act.

A red-winged blackbird is gripping onto the end of a cattail, facing right, with the cattail between him and us. Its tail feathers are completely in the down position, bent towards his belly, almost touching the cattail; it left wing is completely outstretched, facing us, and its right wing is up, outstretched, but bent towards the cattail. It's a very odd pose as he balances.
